PASTOR

Pastor V. E. Royal is the son of the Late Rev. Dr. S. J. Royal, corresponding secretary to the National BaptistConvention, Inc. and Mrs. Latona Royal, a retired educator that taught for some forty years. He is a twin, seven minutes apart but, the youngest of five boys and one girl. This is the third generation of preachers in this family line, however, this is the first generation where all five of the men are pastors. Rev. S. J. Royal Jr. pastors Jordan Baptist Church in Lancaster, Texas; Rev. Averil E. Royal pastors Emmanuel Fellowship Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas; Rev. Zachary W. Royal pastors St. Mary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida; and his twin, Rev. Artis M. Royal pastors Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.

His formative educational experience occurred in the public school systems of Louisville, Kentucky and Fort Worth, Texas. After attending Virginia Union University, he later went on to receive his AA and BA from Beulah Heights Bible College with a degree in Christian Education in May of 2002. He also earned several appearances on the Dean’s list during his tenure there and National honors in Who’s Who for students across the country for his work in the classroom.

Licensed in June of 1991 by Pastor C. D. Britt and the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas, Pastor Royal felt lead by the spirit of God to move to Atlanta, Georgia. In 1992, he joined Beulah Baptist Church where Jerry D. Black serves as pastor and was ordained there in 1998. In the summer of 1999, God saw fit to unite the New Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and Rev. Vinson E. Royal as church and Pastor where he served as Pastor for nine years. In the summer of 2002, the Lord began to create the essence of what would be the start of an unmarked experience to praise, worship and theological teaching. After departing from New Macedonia in the winter of 2008, Pastor V. E. Royal embarked upon a novel call to create and pastor The Praise Factory.

Pastor Royal has an anointed preaching style that is of no comparison. Endowed with an assortment of humor, stories, informality, and insightful precision in interpreting the Word of God, he has been graced with the ability to reach the masses. Pastor Royal continues to exemplify himself as a true Kingdom Builder through his dedication and proven success in pouring into the lives of others. His current decree is to use the gifts that God has given to him to encourage the saved and offer salvation to the lost. Pastor Royal is an advocate of education and plans to improve his Biblical teachings by furthering his education at the ITC School of Religion at Morehouse.

Pastor Royal’s emphasis is to carry out the great commission that Jesus Christ left us, where Evangelism is the focus, but attached to Worship, Christian Education, Discipleship, and Stewardship completing the whole vision. Pastor Royal’s plan is to continue to create an atmosphere of Love in the church and in the community through what he refers to as the three M’s. These are to present Jesus first in the Message, then in Music and in Marketing. The whole world needs to know the name Jesus. We can no longer wait for them to come to the church. We are to be like Christ and pursue the people. With this in mind, Pastor Royal is ready and focused on presenting the church to Christ as a bride without spot or blemish.
